2021-22 (Freshman): Played in 15 games, finishing with two assists… Had two assists in the team’s first win of the season over Colgate (11/5).
Before Dartmouth: Played parts of his final season of junior hockey with the Canmore Eagles and the Whitecourt Wolverines of the AJHL… After playing just two games with Canmore in 2020-21, he joined Whitecourt where he recorded nine points (3-6-9) in 12 games… In 2019-20, he played the entire season with Canmore and had 40 points (5-35-40) on the blueline in 54 regular season games and another five (0-5-5) in seven postseason contests… Played top-pair minutes with both Canmore and Whitecourt… Named an all-rookie first-team player in the AJHL as well as an all-academic selection in 2019-20… Spent his minor hockey career with the Calgary Buffaloes… In the 2018-19 season, while playing Midget AAA, he competed in the Telus Cup in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Personal: Parents are Scott Witzke and Kim Hudson-Witzke… Has one brother… Finished his pre-Dartmouth schooling at Canmore High School… Also attended Bishop O’Byrne and All Saints High School, both in Calgary… An honor roll student all four years of high school.
