Francis Forte joined the women's hockey staff in September of 2023 as the program's director of operations. Forte is responsible for all travel plans, assisting the coaching staff in video production and serving as a liaison to the athletic department, while also serving as the program's social media manager.

Forte previously worked in the Dartmouth Athletics Varsity Athletics Communications office, first as the varsity athletics communications specialist from July of 2022 until he was elevated to an assistant director role in July of 2023. He served as the communications contact for the Big Green’s women’s ice hockey, men’s soccer, softball, sailing, men’s golf and squash programs.

Forte was hired after spending the 2021-22 season as a graduate assistant in the Southern Miss athletic department. He served as the softball, women’s volleyball and women’s tennis contact for the Golden Eagles.

The Hackettstown, New Jersey native served as the official scorer for Southern Miss softball and traveled with the volleyball and softball programs to perform creative and communications duties. He graduated with a master’s degree in sport management from the University of Southern Mississippi in May of 2023.

A 2021 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Forte worked in the Nebraska Athletic Department from 2018-2021 as the primary communications contact for the Huskers’ nationally ranked women’s gymnastics program. He also wrote feature stories for Huskers.com and Nebraska football game day programs.

Forte served as a communications, game day operations and social media intern for the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League during the 2020-21 season. He also served as a media coordination volunteer for the 2020 NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament in April of 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Forte and his wife, Taylor, live in West Lebanon, New Hampshire with their cat, Gator.
