McDuffee comes from Los Angeles as she spent the last four years as a pitcher at UCLA (2014-17), the nation's winningest Division I softball program with 11 national championships. While she played there, the Bruins made it to the Women's College World Series twice.
In 2013 she played on the USA Softball Junior Women's Team that won a silver medal at the ISF Women's World Championship. A native of Texas, the standout pitcher was the 2010-11National Gatorade Player of the Year and Texas Gatorade Player of the Year, from her time at Woodlands High School.
During her free time, McDuffee was a camp coordinator and instructor for Elite Softball, where she managed camp agendas and game schedules. She was also an instructor for the UCLA Softball Camps, organizing activities for children ages 6-13.Â
McDuffee graduated from UCLA in 2017 with a degree in sociology.
