Senior (2015-16): Captain … All-Ivy First Team … Academic All-Ivy … ECAC Hockey Third Team All-League … ECAC Hockey All-Academic … during her final season with the Big Green, Stacey appeared in 27 games and scored 10 goals and 13 assists for a team-leading 23 points … for the fourth year in a row, led Dartmouth in helpers … opened her season with four assists in three straight games before netting a pair of goals in the victory over Brown (11/06) … had at least one point in 16 games and had five multi-point games … ended games against Cornell (1/09) and Brown (2/06) with three points … 12 of her 23 points and eight of her 10 goals came against Ivy League opponents … scored one of the team’s two shorthanded goals … skated with the Canadian National Women’s Development Team in the 2016 Nations Cup and tallied one goal and one assist while helping Canada claim the title … named the team’s Offensive MVP and Team MVP.
Junior (2014-15): All-Ivy Honorable Mention … ECAC Hockey All-Academic … as a junior, Stacey appeared in 26 games, netting nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points … tied for first on the team in points with Lindsey Allen and Kennedy Ottenbreit … opened the season against UNH (10/24) with a season-high four points off one goal and three assists … in all but six games this season, she scored at least one point … had six multi-point games … scored three power-player markers and had one game-winning goal in the 4-3 victory over Brown on Feb. 6 … was one of 22 players selected to Canada’s National Women’s Development Team.
Sophomore (2013-14): In her second season on campus, Stacey appeared in 27 games for the Big Green … potted four goals to go along with 12 helpers … had four multi-point contests, all of which came in conference play … had two assists in three games … scored the team's lone shorthanded goal of the season in a 3-1 win at Rensselaer … scored a power-play goal in a 4-2 victory at Colgate.
Freshman (2012-13): Stacey made a splash in her first season with the Big Green, appearing in 28 games … tallied 22 points on eight goals and a team-best 14 assists … 16 of her points came in conference action … named to the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team … had five multi-point games … ended the season scoring goals in three of the last six contests … early in the season she traveled to Germany to compete with the Canadian National Women's Under 22/Development Team in the 2013 Meco Cup … scored a goal in the championship game against Russia, as she helped lead her country to Gold … one of three finalists for ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year … scored her first collegiate goal against UNH in non-conference action on Nov. 6 … named team's Rookie of the Year.
Before Dartmouth: Played junior hockey for the Toronto Jr. Aeros of the PWHL, alongside Dartmouth teammates Ailish Forfar and Lindsey Allen … went to the PWHL Final Four twice, coming away with one silver and one gold medal … made the PWHL All-Star team in 2010 … Part of the National U18 Challenge in 2009, winning a silver medal as a member of the Ontario Blue … won another silver with the Canadian U18 National Team at the 2011 IIHF World Championship … claimed Gold at the U18 World Championship the following year … earned silver at the 2011 Canada Winter games … chosen to represent Canada on the U22 Women's National Team/Development Team during the summer of 2012 … also picked for the Hockey Canada Women's National Team September Camp and Fall Festival in 2012.
Personal: Laura Rachel Stacey is the daughter of John and Karen Stacey … has one sister … great-grandfather, Francis King Clancy, played for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL … father played collegiate volleyball … uncle, Steve Kavanagh, played college hockey at Guelph.
