2008-09: Played in all of 34 contests for the Big Green ... reached the 100-point milestone this season, becoming the 28th Big Green skater to do so ... named second team All-Ivy ... earned the milestone in a 3-2 loss to Harvard on Dec. 17 ... led team with a career-high 25 assists ... potted 10 goals to give her a career-high 35 points on the year ... named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week on Nov. 10 after a seven-point week against BC, Union and RPI ... started the season on a five-game point streak, including three-point games against Union and Rensselaer ... posted a five-game streak after going scoreless in two games ... followed that with a six-game streak .... the streak included two three-point efforts ... scored a goal and added two assists against Providence on Jan. 13 ... registered a season-high three assists in the 8-4 win over Rensselaer on Jan. 30 ... finished the first round series against Colgate with four points on three assists and a power play goal ... second on the team in power play points with 16 on three goals and 13 assists ... leads the team with a +19 ... tallied a power play goal and an assist in the ECAC Hockey Championship game ... named a nominee for the 2009 Patty Kazmaier Award.
2007-08: Had a break out junior season, appearing in 33 games with a team-leading 39 points ... named second team All-Ivy ... earned ECAC Hockey Second Team honors ... set new career-highs in each offensive category ... led the Big Green with 23 assists ... her 16 goals were second, which doubled up her previous season-high of eight ... her 10 multi-point games was tied for the team lead ... second with five power play goals, all of which occurred in conference play ... recorded a +20, which led the Big Green ... first on the team with 28 points in ECAC Hockey play with 14 goals and 14 assists ... eighth in ECAC Hockey with 1.24 points per game ... ninth in scoring and 10th in assists in the conference ... finished the regular season with a seven-game point streak ... posted two goals in three games, including a three-point effort with two goals and an assist in the 6-4 win over Mercyhurst on Dec. 16 ... tied a career-high with three assists in the 4-1 win over Union on Senior Night on Feb. 9 ... tallied two assists in the 4-3 win against Colgate on Feb. 29, including an assist on the game-winner from Parsons with 24 seconds left.
2006-07: Appeared in all 34 games ... exploded for 19 points in 26 games after starting the season scoreless in the first eight games ... had four multi-point games ... tallied four points in the teams first three ECACHL tournament games ... was tied for third on the team with two game-winning goals ... four of her eight goals came on the power play and one was shorthanded ... finished the season second on the team in points among sophomores with 21 ... tallied a season-high two goals versus Cornell in a 7-1 win ... scored the game-winning goal on Feb. 24, against Rensselaer in the ECACHL first round ... recorded an assist on the team’s final goal of the season against Boston College.
2005-06: Played in every one of the Big Green’s 29 games ... led the team in assists with 16 and overall points tallying up 24 on the season ... racked up six multi-point games, including a four-point effort (1g, 3a) in the 9-0 win over Union ... scored two of the teams three goals in the 3-3 tie against Brown on Feb. 4 ... led the team in power-play goals with six, and finished second in game-winning goals with four ... was named ECACHL Women’s Rookie of the Week once, as well as named to the weekly honor roll twice ... along with teammate Shannon Bowman, Kennedy played for the U-22 National Team ...
Before Dartmouth: Captained the Connecticut Polar Bears during the 2004-05 season... led the Polar Bears in scoring during the Division I National Tournament, helping the team win the championship ... scored 62 goals and notched 77 helpers in 82 career games with the Polar Bears ... named captain for Loomis Chaffee, leading the squad to the Founders League title with a 16-3-2 record ... earned all-league honors during her final season ... scored 47 goals with 48 assists in just 66 games during her three years at Loomis Chaffee ... given the Barbara Erickson Award for sportsmanship and outstanding play ... won the New England Championships in both soccer and softball at Loomis Chaffee ...
Personal: Margaret Anne Kennedy was born on August 15, 1986 ... daughter of Rob and Meg Kennedy ... has one sister and one brother ... uncle, Matt Sinatro, played on four MLB teams between 1981 and 1992 ... uncle, Greg Sinatro, was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 1972.
