NEW ASSISTANT COACH AT DARTMOUTH
On April 21, 2026, head coach Brett MacConnell announced the addition of Bell to the Dartmouth men's basketball staff as an assistant coach.

PROFESSIONAL PLAYING CAREER
After graduating from Princeton in 2018, Bell spent seven seasons as a professional player, competing in Italy, Malaysia, Israel, Germany, Poland and Cyprus. He earned All-ASEAN League honors in Malaysia, was named the Polish League's Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 and closed his playing career in 2024-25 by leading AEK Larnaca to the Cypriot Division A title, earning First Team and Finals MVP recognition after scoring 38 points in the championship game.

COLLEGIATE CAREER AT PRINCETON
A native of East Brunswick, New Jersey, Bell was a standout guard at Princeton from 2014 to 2018, playing alongside MacConnell, who was then a Princeton assistant coach. Bell helped lead the Tigers to the 2017 Ivy League Championship and, as a senior, earned Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2018. Over his four-year career, Bell averaged 8.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game across 118 contests, and finished his career 35th in program history in scoring (1,043 points) and seventh in assists (313).

STANFORD ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Bell joined Dartmouth following a season at Stanford, where he served first as special assistant to the head coach before moving into the role of Assistant General Manager of the men's basketball program under Kyle Smith. His responsibilities with the Cardinal included player development, scouting and game preparation, contributing to a 20-win season and an appearance in the College Basketball Crown in 2025-26. Bell was reunited at Stanford with MacConnell, who had coached him at Princeton, as well as with head coach Kyle Smith, whom Bell first encountered while Smith was recruiting against him during Smith's tenure at Columbia.

BACKGROUND
Born May 21, 1996, in East Brunswick, N.J., Bell was a three-star recruit out of East Brunswick High School, according to ESPN.com and Rivals.com, and was named to the All-Greater Middlesex Conference team in 2013 and 2014.
