He then led student-athlete and team hospitality for NCAA Baseball Regional and Super Regional tournament operations at North Carolina from May to June 2026.
Magnotta spent nearly two years with Cornell University Athletics, first as event staff and later, from August to December 2025, as an event management and operations assistant, preparing event protocols and coordinating scheduling for more than 100 event staff.
His earlier collegiate stops include roles with Penn men's lacrosse, Syracuse (facilities and game operations intern and 'Cuse Crew lead), Maryland (facilities, operations and events intern) and Ithaca College women's basketball (student manager). In February 2024, he worked Super Bowl LVIII as NFL house staff and in stadium fan services. He also spent time with the Abington Heights School District, helping establish social media operations for its 33 varsity programs and contributing to an athletic internship curriculum.
Outside collegiate athletics, Magnotta founded and operates Magnotta Media LLC, planning senior all-star events and a multi-state fall league while growing its NEPA Hoops platform to more than 12.2 million views and 9,700 followers.
Magnotta earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in sport management, magna cum laude, from Ithaca College in 2026, and is pursuing a master's degree in sport administration from the University of Northern Colorado, expected 2027.
A native of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, Magnotta began working in athletic administration while still in high school. He is a Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Steelers fan who enjoys exploring new sports venues.
