McPadden joined the Dartmouth strength and conditioning staff prior to the start of the 2026-27 athletic seasons.
Prior to arriving in Hanover, McPadden spent three years at the University of New England as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. In that role, she directly programmed year-round training for 12 varsity programs: football, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s basketball, softball, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s and women’s golf, and men’s and women’s tennis.
McPadden served as head strength and conditioning coach for football at UNE, leading all aspects of the program’s performance training. She also coordinated the department’s internship program, directing and overseeing the development of interns within the staff. She also served as interim head strength and conditioning coach, overseeing the programs for all 16 varsity teams and managing the department’s day-to-day operations.
McPadden earned a master’s degree in sport and exercise science, with a concentration in strength and conditioning, kinesiology and exercise science, from Merrimack College in 2023. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Roanoke College, where she was a member of the women's basketball team and graduated in 2021.
