Jake Hewitt joined the Big Green sports medicine staff as an athletic trainer in July 2025. He will work primarily with the baseball team.
Prior to Dartmouth, Hewitt worked as an athletic trainer at Cayuga Health System. His professional interests include blood flow restriction, mental performance, and research on the relationship between concussions and mental health.
Hewitt earned his Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College in 2023 before receiving his Masters of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Ithaca College.
Outside of work, Hewitt enjoys golfing, running, and anything that involves being outdoors.
