Jayna Ryan joined Dartmouth Athletics as director of travel operations in the business office in August 2026.
Ryan came to Dartmouth after serving as administrative coordinator for athletics at Saint Michael's College from October 2025 to August 2026, where she oversaw travel logistics for 24 varsity sports, reconciled travel invoices and assisted with a range of administrative duties.
Prior to Saint Michael's, Ryan was club services manager at Pictona at Holly Hill from December 2023 to August 2024. There, she managed and scheduled 49 courts for a membership base of more than 1,500 and oversaw billing and financial transactions. She also assisted with operations for the PPA and MLP tours held at the facility.
Ryan also served as coordinator of recreation center programming at Rhode Island College from June 2023 to August 2024, where she developed, implemented and oversaw all intramural activities and managed the financial operations of a summer camp serving more than 1,100 campers, while assisting with oversight of the recreation facility.
She began her career as a graduate assistant for athletics and recreation at Castleton University from August 2021 to May 2023, supporting the athletic director across all facets of the department, serving as game day administrator for several teams and overseeing game day and office student staff. Ryan was nominated for graduate assistant of the year at Castleton.
A two-time Little East Conference All-Academic Team honoree (2019-2021) as a member of the Castleton softball team, Ryan earned a bachelor's degree in sport management from Castleton University in 2021 and a master's degree in athletic leadership from Castleton in 2023.
Ryan lives with her goldendoodle, Oliver.
