Jordan Belfiori joined the football staff in February 2026, serving as the program's newest assistant coach and defensive coordinator.
Belfiori comes to Hanover after one season at Butler and will focus on the Big Green's defense and linebackers, serving in the same role in Indiana. He spent the majority of his career at Colgate, coaching the Raiders for seven seasons.
In his first season with Colgate, the Raiders won ten games for the fourth time in program history, winning their 10th Patriot League Championship. The Raiders started the season undefeated, as the defense gave up just 29 points over the first nine games and tied an FCS record with five shutouts.
In addition to coaching countless student-athletes to league recognitions in his time at Colgate, his linebackers led the nation in scoring defense (9.3), total defense (237.7), and pass efficiency defense (88.7) in 2018.
Prior to Colgate, Belfiori was a graduate assistant at Western Michigan and coached at Wayne State. He also has experience at the high school level, as his first coaching job was at L'anse Creuse High School-North in Michigan.
"Jordan's defensive scheme and philosophy mesh really well with our current players," Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach Sammy McCorkle said. "Having known Jordan for quite some time, I'm confident his energy and attention to detail will continue Dartmouth's defensive tradition as we work to continue to take this program to the next level."
