After serving as the Assistant Athletics Director for Dartmouth Peak Performance (DP2)/Academics from late 2019 into 2022, Lyndsay Ostler was promoted to the Associate Athletics Director for Enrollment Management.
In her current role, Ostler acts as the liaison between athletics and the offices of admissions and financial aid while managing the admissions support process. Shd also assists the coaches with the recruitment process in evaluating student-athletes’ academics and navigating the admissions application process and deadlines.
Ostler led the DP2 academic service area in her initial role with the department, focusing on advising student-athletes, creating high-impact programming and supporting holistic development. She also oversaw the Faculty Advisors program for athletics and served as a point person for community service, student-athlete handbook, SAAC, the Dartmouth Celebration of Excellence and campus connections.
Prior to her arrival at Dartmouth, Ostler spent seven years at Colby-Sawyer College as a coach and administrator. As the assistant athletics director and senior woman administrator, she served as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Advisor, coordinated service opportunities and awareness events, and created pre-season programming on “Maximizing Campus Resources for Student-Athletes.” Simultaneously, as the head coach of the cross country and track & field teams, Ostler was named the Coach of the Year in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC)and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) 12 times, and led her teams to 14 conference championships, including men’s and women’s GNAC conference championships in cross country in her final conference meet at the helm for the Chargers.
Ostler received her bachelor’s degree in 2009 from St. Lawrence University, where she was a cross country and track & field student-athlete. She earned her master’s degree in sport management from Ithaca College and is a member of Women Leaders in College Sports.
