Mariruth Graham brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role in the sports department as a Human Resources generalist. She will serve as the primary contact for all HR needs, focusing on employee relations and engagement, staff recruitment, hiring plans, employee performance management, and annual review processes. Mariruth will be based in the HR office in Lewinstein Athletic Center, Room 158.

Transitioning seamlessly from her role as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Dartmouth College, Mariruth has a deep understanding of the Dartmouth community and DCARD. With nearly two decades in the Hanover area, she is well-acquainted with the local culture and dynamics. Her two children, now in their 20’s, grew up on the fields, courts and pitches of Dartmouth where they all have fond memories attending competitions and cheering on the Big Green. Her extensive background in HR and talent acquisition includes previous positions such as Director of Talent Acquisition at Coldwell Banker Lifestyles and various HR roles including a short-term assignment at Hypertherm.

Mariruth's athletic background is equally impressive. She was a co-captain of the softball team at the University of Virginia, showcasing her leadership and teamwork skills. Her coaching experience includes serving as an assistant softball coach at Dartmouth for 3 seasons and the head varsity softball coach at Hanover High School spanned five seasons.

Mariruth's commitment to fostering positive environments both in sports and HR, along with her comprehensive experience in recruitment, coaching, and employee management, makes her an invaluable asset to the sports department. Her passion for engaging and developing talent, combined with her local expertise, will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of the department.
