Her leadership and organizational skills have made her an integral part of the Big Green's athletic culture.
"I've never encountered a more mature, insightful, committed and loyal undergraduate student as I did with Michaela", said Cimino. "She is deeply involved on campus and is a constant presence in intangibles that have a meaningful impact on the Dartmouth community. She has a unique blend of leadership, confidence and organizational skills. Michaela is an efficient, detail-oriented, dedicated and reliable young woman and I'm so happy she is continuing her journey with us."
Nsubuga's unique blend of athletic insight, leadership and service positions her as a rising professional with a bright future in sports administration within athletics and will be an excellent full-time addition to the basketball staff.
A native of London, England, Nsubuga was a double major at Dartmouth, graduating with a degree in Anthropology Modified with a Global Health and minor in Biology. Before Dartmouth, she attended the Pomfret School in Connecticut, where she was a standout student-athlete, competing in both basketball and softball.
The staff will lead a roster that features 12 returners, including four starters from the 2024-2025 season.
