Margo Cox is entering her third season as an assistant coach with the women's rowing team in 2017-18. Her main responsibilities include heading up the novice group for the fall and supporting the program's recruiting efforts throughout the year.
Cox began her rowing career in the Wayland-Weston Rowing Association in Wayland, Massachusetts, while attending Weston High School where she was a four-year letter winner in both basketball and rowing.
Having graduated from Dartmouth in 2015, Cox was elected captain her senior year and collected three team awards at the end of the season: the Julia H. Geer '75 award for the woman who has made the most significant contribution to rowing at Dartmouth; the Warren C. Nagle '76 award for the woman who perseveres toward the goal of giving her absolute best; and the Stewards Award for the undergraduate who has done the most to promote the ideals of Dartmouth Rowing this past year.
She was also named to the Dean's Honor List and was tapped as a College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar Athlete and was selected to the organization's All-Region Second Team.
