Dartmouth got on the board late in the second period.
Kevin Swallow (Stanwood, Mich.) stole the puck at the Holy Cross blue line bringing it all the way down the ice. The freshman made a cross-ice pass to linemate
Connor Shields (Edmonton, Alta.) who one-time the puck over netminder Tony Quesada.
Garret Overlock (Greenwich, Conn.) scored his second goal of the weekend at 7:47 in the third, tying the game at 2-apiece.
Ben Lovejoy (Orford, N.H.) passed to Eric Przepiorka (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) who took the shot with Overlock there for the tip-in.
The drama unfolded late in the third. With Dartmouth on the power play, Sixsmith stole an errant pass from a Dartmouth blueliner going one-on-one with netminder
Mike Devine, beating Devine glove side for the game winner.
Devine finished with 19 saves on the night while Quesada had 32.
The Big Green will be back in action for two league contests next weekend, hosting Union on Friday and Rensselaer on Saturday.
