Dartmouth Women's Track & Field Competes at BU
BOSTON, Mass. - The Dartmouth women's track and field team picked up a pair of second-place finishes in competition Friday at the BU Terrier Classic.
Senior
Jamila Smith (Memphis, Tenn.) was the runner-up in the shot put with 43-8, as junior Jessica Long (Lynn, Mass.) was fourth with 40-7 1/2. Sixth place went to sophomore
Emily Daly (Hopkinton, Mass.) with 40-1 1/2.
In the pole vault, sophomore
Natalie Todd-Zebell (Portland, Ore.) was second with 12-0, while senior Lilly Bertz (Southbury, Conn.) cleared 11-6 1/2 for third place.
Sophomore
Caitlin Cunningham (Simsbury, Conn.) turned in an ECAC qualifying time of 9:58.0 in the 3,000.
The Big Green returns to action on Saturday, February 3, hosting the Dartmouth Indoor Classic.
