Dartmouth Men's Basketball Shut Down at Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Dartmouth men‚s basketball team couldn't
generate much offense, falling to Brown, 53-33, in Ivy League action
Saturday night.

In a slow-paced contest, Dartmouth went 13-of-50 from the floor,
shooting 26.0 percent, as sophomore Alex Barnett (St. Louis, Mo.) led
the Big Green with 10 points.

Brown (9-16 overall, 4-6 Ivy) used a 13-0 run in the final 3:36 of
the first half for a 24-16 lead at the break. The Big Green (8-15 overall,
3-7 Ivy) stayed cold in the second half, shooting 25 percent. Dartmouth
was 0-for-12 beyond the arc.

For Brown, Mark McAndrew had a double-double with 13 points
and 11 rebounds.

Dartmouth junior Jonathan Ball had eight points and seven
rebounds.

The Big Green returns home next weekend, hosting Princeton on
Friday and Penn on Saturday.
