HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's hockey team won its fourth game in a row with a 5-1 drubbing of No. 16 Clarkson on Saturday night. The Big Green had five different players score goals as the Big Green registered two in the first and second periods before adding the capper with less than 2:00 to play in the contest.

In the first period neither side registered a shot on net until almost midway through the frame but it was Clarkson that lit the lamp first when Jake Morley shot over goalie Jody O'Neill's (Nepean, Ont.) shoulder for the 1-0 score.

The Golden Knights continued to control play through much of the period, outshooting the Big Green, 12-8. Scott Fleming (Plainfield, Ont.) tried to answer Clarkson's goal with a shorthanded one of his own but was brought down, resulting in the Knights first penalty of the contest.

Just four seconds into the extra-man opportunity, Joe Stejskal (Grand Rapids, Minn.) capitalized with a slap shot that sailed past netminder Tim Potter. Doug Jones (Marietta, Ga.) assisted on the play to keep his five-game scoring streak alive.

Matt Reber (Edina, Minn.) got on the board with his first of the season with just :09 left in the stanza as he skated in alone on Potter as the Big Green took a 2-1 lead into the first break.

The second period was all Dartmouth as the Big Green outshot the Knights 18-9. Adam Estoclet (Orono, Minn.) and Rob Pritchard (Burnaby, B.C.) connected on a dangle pass at 10:49 as Estoclet continued his scoring streak with five games.

Connor Goggin (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) recorded his first goal of the season at 12:13 when he stole the puck at mid-ice and took a shot that was saved up and behind netminder Paul Krapowich.

The capper of the night was a redirect by Connor Shields (Edmonton, Alta.). Troy Mattila (Rockford, Ill.) got his first point of the season when he shot the puck at the side of the net with Shields there to redirect it in. Josh Gillam (Peterborough, Ont.) also picked up an assist.

In net O'Neill finished with 27 saves while Potter and Karpowich combined for 27.

Dartmouth takes to the road next for a pair of ECAC games, playing at Colgate on Friday and Cornell on Saturday.
