HANOVER, N.H. ? The Dartmouth Sports Network (DSN) has completed its schedule of broadcasts for the Big Green winter sports season with the addition of WTSL 94.3 FM and 1400 AM to the network. WTSL will simulcast 25 of the 28 men's basketball games on the FM and AM stations with Dave Collins returning to provide play-by-play for all the Dartmouth men's action on the hardwood.
Dartmouth will be led by Ivy League Player of the Year candidate Alex Barnett (St. Louis, Mo.) as the Big Green attempt to dethrone reigning conference champion Cornell for the league title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Barnett is the leading returning scorer in the Ivy League and led the loop in rebounding a year ago. The squad will be captained by senior forward Jarrett Mathis (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and junior guard Robby Pride (Denver, Colo.).
The women's hockey broadcasts, 11 in total, will be aired on WFRD 99.3 FM, as will all the men's hockey games. Collins calls the action for the women, while Chris Garrett is the voice for the men on 99Rock. Women's basketball will continue to be aired on WUVR 1490 AM, with 24 of the 28 games being broadcast on the air with Clint Oftedahl describing the action in his first year behind the mike for the Big Green.
Each Dartmouth Sports Network broadcast will be streamed live over the internet. For the complete broadcast schedule, please check out the DSN web site at www.DartmouthSportsNetwork.com.
