On March 7th the team took advantage of some down time during the Maryland Round Robin Tournament to tour DC, visiting both the Lincoln Memorial and Korean War Memorial on the Mall. PHOTOS

On Feb. 7th and 8th, 2009 the team travelled to the Dartmouth Skiway to take advantage of some time away from campus and spent the night in the Dartmouth Outing Club's Nunnemacher Cabin. (To learn more about the DOC cabins that are available for students to rent please click http://www.dartmouth.edu/~doc/cabins/) The team hiked to the cabin on snowshoes and spent the evening engaging in teambuilding activities for the upcoming season. On October 13, 2008, the softball team participated in an off field activity designed to promote team cohesiveness and the development of leaders. On the Odyssey High Ropes Course operated by the Dartmouth Outing Club (http://www.dartmouth.edu/~doc/ropescourse/odyssey/) the team engaged in a series of challenges which encouraged the players to identify issues and make decisions as a group.
