REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday Conditions: 6-9 S-SW flat water. Sailors from thirteen NEISA, MAISA and SAISA schools were greeted by 80 degree sunny weather and a late report time due to the crew regatta taking place on the Charles. After a relatively late start seven A division and six B division races were squeezed in. The racing was close all day with two protests being reported but resolved on the water. BC lead at the end of the day with 54 points.
Sunday: Conditions: 5-7 W. Once again the weather was gorgeous on the Charles even warmer than Saturday and a hint lighter. The crew regatta continued and the start was again slightly later than usual but the regatta ended on time and we were able to start on time as well. The Conditions were typical of the Charles fairly shifty with solid pressure variations. Again we saw great close racing with one protest being reported and one withdrawal.
Thanks to BU for hosting, Greg Helias for running the event and Trip McDermott for his help on Saturday.
Judges: Sue Epstein, Tom Robinson, Matt Conover.
