NEW YORK - The Columbia women's swimming and diving team won all but one race to top Dartmouth, 176-119 today.
Sophomore diver Erica Serpico swept the one and three meter events for the eighth straight meet, leading a Big Green one-two-three finish on the three meter. She won that with a score of 272.16 with teammates Kate O'Brien and Bridget Duffey in second and third. Serpico took the one-meter with a score of 257.39 with Duffey third scoring 224.59.
Galen Barry was the lone victor in the pool for Dartmouth, taking first in the 200 backstroke in 2:09.75. Maddie Steiner swam to a second place finish in the 200 breaststroke in 2:29.65 and Charlotte Williams was just behind her for third in 2:30.22. Caitlin Nicholson was another second place finisher for Dartmouth in the 100 butterfly, finishing in 58.72.
Rookie Isa Guardalabene took second in the 200 IM in 2:13.01, while teammate Caitlin Keenan was third in 2:15.61. Virginia Selden was the top finisher in the 200 butterfly in 2:12.94 while Keenan was fourth in 2:14.26.
Elizabeth Kamai was the top Big Green swimmer in the both the 50 and 100 free, taking third in both. She finished the 50 in 25.07 and the 100 in 54.32.
The 200 medley relay team of Barry, Guardalabene, Nicholson and Kamai took second in 1:50.85.
Dartmouth closed the dual meet season with a record of 2-11, 0-6 Ivy and will now prepare for Ivy Championships on Feb. 25-27 at Harvard.
