DURHAM, N.H. – In its second show of the spring season, the Dartmouth equestrian team finished third out of 12 teams down in Durham and the University of New Hampshire's Show. The Big Green swept all of the Walk, Trot, Canter classes with first place finishes. In a wild show that had several bucking horses with six riders upended, Dartmouth was able to keep all of our riders on and win several events.
First place finishes went to Sam Parsons (Weston, Conn.) in Open Fences while Abby Franklin (Wilmont, N.H.), Helena Witte (Fairfield, Conn.) and Anne Peale (San Carlos, Calif.) were all in in Advanced Walk, Trot, Canter. Natalie Colaneri (Jericho, N.Y.) won for Beginner Walk, Trot, Canter
Parsons in Open Flat and Linda Cummins (Houston, Texas) in Novice Flat both finished second.
Dartmouth will next be in action, traveling to Mt. Ida on March 21.
