PRINCETON, N.J. — Dartmouth swept the New Jersey Institute of Technology 7-0 Saturday at the ECAC Winter Championships. The Big Green easily earned the doubles point before moving on to the singles matches.
Out of the six matches, four of the Dartmouth players won in straight sets. Senior Molly Scott (Trabuco Cyn.) won 6-3, 6-1, freshman Melissa Matsuoka (Newport Beach, Calif.) won 6-1, 6-4, Senior Ryan Reichel (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) won 7-5, 6-3 and freshman Rachel Decker-Sadowski (Santa Barbara, Calif.) won 6-1, 6-0. Sophomore Christina Danosi (New Albany, Ohio) and freshman Valeriya Tatisheva (New York, N.Y.) each their first set, but bounced back to win their matches.
The Big Green will play Columbia on Sunday for fifth place at 9:30 a.m.
