PRINCETON, N.J. — Sophomore
Christina Danosi (New Albany, Ohio) earned the deciding point in the Dartmouth women's tennis team's 4-2 victory over Columbia on Sunday to finish fifth at the ECAC Winter Championship. The Big Green are now 4-4 on the season.
Dartmouth got straight set singles victories from sophomore
Sarah Leonard (Norwalk, Conn.) at second singles, freshman
Melissa Matsuoka (Newport Beach, Calif.) at third singles, and senior tri-captain
Ryan Reichel (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) at fourth singles. Danosi had dropped the first set at fifth singles, but came back to seal the deal for the Big Green with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 win. Since Dartmouth's victory was clinched during singles play, the doubles matches were not played.
