HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's tennis team beat Massachusetts, 4-3, on Thursday at the Boss Indoor Tennis Center to improve to 5-4.
Dartmouth won the doubles point and got singles wins from senior tri-captain Molly Scott (Trabuco Cyn, Calif.) at first singles and sophomore Christina Danosi (New Albany, Ohio) at fourth singles. Freshman Melissa Matsuoka (Newport Beach, Calif.) put the final singles point on the board at second singles to give the Big Green an insurmountable 4-0 lead, but the Minutewomen prevailed in three sets in the final three matches.
Dartmouth returns to action at home on Saturday at 1 pm vs. Binghamton.
