IRVINE, CALIF. — The Dartmouth women's tennis team lost at No. 56 California Irvine, 4-2, on Sunday in a match that was shortened due to weather.
Senior tri-captain Georgiana Smyser (Houston, Texas) and sophomore Sarah Leonard (Norwalk, Conn.) put the two points on the board for the Big Green, winning at sixth and second singles, respectively. Dartmouth fell to 8-6 while the Anteaters imporved to 7-7. The doubles matches were not played due to inclement weather.
The Big Green play at Col Poly on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pacific time.
