SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. — The 72nd-ranked Dartmouth women's tennis team lost to #47 Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Mustangs, 4-3 on Tuesday. With the loss, the Big Green dropped to 8-7 on year.

Dartmouth received wins at first singles from Molly Scott (Trabuco Cyn, Calif.), third singles from Melissa Matsuoka (Newport Beach, Calif.) and at fourth singles from Ryan Reichel (Hilton Head Island, S.C.).

The Big Green will be back in action on Wednesday against #66 UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.

1. Scott/Matsuoka lost to Lee/Markhoff: 8-5
2. R. Reichel/Smyser lost to Davis/Pane: 8-7 (10-8)
3. J. Reichel/Danosi lost to Lehane/Gatewood: 8-4
