BIG GREEN COMPETITORS
Dartmouth had eight athletes qualify for the East Regional Preliminaries. Four of the eight will compete on the opening day of the competition on Thursday. Senior Alex Tanner (Baltimore, Md.) competes in the first round of the 400-meter hurdles at 3:30 p.m. If she advances past the opening round the quarterfinals are on Friday at 7 p.m. Tanner has the 17th-fastest qualifying time at 58.57. Freshman Arianna Vailas (Manchester, N.H.) competes in the 1,500 meters at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. If she advances, the quarterfinals are at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Vailas has the 34th-best qualifying time at 4:25.42. Junior Christina Supino (Windham, N.H.) runs in the first round of the 800 meters at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. If she advances, the quarterfinals are at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. She has the 47th-fastest qualifying mark at 2:09.11. The final competitor for the Big Green on Thursday is freshman Caitie Meyer (Weston, Mass.) in the 10,000 meters. She has the 22nd-fastest qualifying time at 34:39.62.
On Friday, Dartmouth will have three more athletes compete. Senior Jaclyn Wypler (Ridgewood, N.J.) throws in the javelin at 12 p.m. She has the 46th-best qualifying throw at 43.74 meters. At 1 p.m., senior Malina Simmers (Anchorage, Alaska) competes in the triple jump. She has the 33rd-best qualifying mark at 12.58 meters. Junior Alexi Pappas (Alameda, Calif.) runs in the final women's event on Friday in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 8:30 p.m. She has the 23rd-best qualifying time at 10:25.82.
On the final day of the competition, freshman Abbey D'Agostino (Topsfield, Mass.) competes in the 5,000 meters. She has the 22nd-fastest qualifying time at 16:23.50.

and will not start until the track events begin each day. The start time
on Thursday will be 3:30 p.m., on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday
