HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's tennis team won its third straight home match, blanking Boston College, 7-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Boss Tennis Center and Gordon Pavilion.
With the win the Big Green move to 3-3 on the season, with all three of their wins coming in Hanover.
For the second consecutive match, the Green and White swept doubles action. The duos of Xander Centenari/Brandon DeBot and Alex de Chatellus/Mike Jacobs each scored closely-contested 8-7 victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, respectively.
Cameron Ghorbani and Brendan Tannenbaum netted an 8-4 triumph at No. 2 doubles.
The momentum carried over into singles action as Dartmouth took all six matches, with five of the points coming via straight set victories.
Centenari, Chris Kipouras, Erik Nordahl, DeBot and Sam Todd each won in two sets for the Big Green.
The other member of the team to notch a victory was Justin Chan. After dropping the first, Chan rallied to top Matt Wagner in three sets at No. 5 singles.
Dartmouth returns to the courts Feb. 15-17, when it travels to Ithaca, N.Y., to compete in the ECAC Championship.
