HANOVER, N.H. — Freshman Nick White ran 34 yards for a touchdown to cap a four-play, 70-yard drive and classmate Ian Hanselman returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown to key the Dartmouth junior varsity to a 36-0 halftime lead over Norwich University Sunday. The second half consisted of drills and a pass skeleton.
Quarterback Jack Heneghan completed 16-of-20 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns in the half of scrimmaging with two of the incompletions coming on drops and another when the receiver slipped and fell.
Junior Kevin Muzzi led Dartmouth with four catches for 62 yards, with each longer than the last. His receptions covered 5, 11, 19 and 27 yards.
Charles Mack had three catches for 47 yards including TDs of 11 and 24 yards. Emory Thompson caught two balls for 63 yards, the second a 51-yard scoring pass.
Dartmouth ran the ball just six times with White leading the way with three carries for 42 yards and two touchdowns.
With no kickoffs, punts or PATs, play started each possession at the minus-30. The Big Green scored touchdowns all five times the offense had the ball on drives of 2, 3, 4, 8 and 10 plays.
Kyran McKinney-Crudden had six tackles to lead the defense. Norwich crossed the midfield stripe just one time.
