NEW YORK – The Dartmouth men's swimming and diving team dropped their final dual meet of the season to Ivy League foe Columbia on Sunday, 172.5-127.5.
Nejc Zupan won the 100-Breast and Timo Vaimann finished second going 55.06 and 58.49, respectively.
Zupan also won the 200-breast event with a new pool record time of 1:59.95. Zupan picked up his third win of the day, with a 1:49.93 in the 200-IM.
Brett Gillis won the three-meter diving with 377.55 points.
Distance freestyler Jun Oh won the 1,000-free as he just barely out touched Columbia with a time of 9:27.25. Ian Woon finished second in the 200-free in 1:42.79. Oh and James Thompson III finished first and second in the 500 freestyle in a time of 4:39.02 and 4:39.82.
James Verhagen finished second in the 100-back with a time of 50.08. He then won the 200-back in 1:51.55
The Big Green will have three weeks to prepare before Ivy Championships Feb.27-Mar. 2 at Harvard in Cambridge, Mass.
