PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — The Dartmouth women's varsity eight took fourth place in the Grand Final at the Ivy League Championship on the Cooper River on Sunday, helping the team score 40 points to finish fifth in the team standings. Princeton won the race with an Ivy League-record time of 6:15.412, while the Big Green finished behind Brown and Radcliffe as well in 6:25.153.
By virtue of winning three of the races on the day, Brown took home the team points trophy with 81 points, ahead of Princeton's 73. But the Tigers got the automatic bid to the NCAA Championships that will take place in Indianapolis on May 30-June 1.
