HANOVER, N.H. — The Ivy League announced its weekly award winners in men's basketball this afternoon and Dartmouth forward Evan Boudreaux was chosen for his performances in road games at Maine and Stanford. This is the third time the 6-8 freshman from Lake Forest, Illinois, has been selected for the honor in five weeks of the 2015-16 season.
Boudreaux began his week with his second double-double of the season with 18 points and a season-high 13 rebounds in a 79-69 victory at Maine on Dec. 9. He knocked down 5-of-10 field goals and all eight of his free throw attempts, and his 13 caroms are the most by a Big Green player since Gabas Maldunas collected 15 against Brown back on Feb. 7. On Saturday, Boudreaux tied for the team lead with six rebounds while chipping in six points and a pair of assists.
For the week, the rookie averaged 12 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 8-of-17 (.471).
Dartmouth (3-4) next plays at Cal State Bakersfield (5-3) this evening at 10 p.m. (EST).
