CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The No. 9 Dartmouth women's squash team advanced to the semifinal of the 2015 Kurtz Cup with a 6-3 win over Bates on Saturday afternoon at Harvard University.
Dartmouth will meet Williams on Saturday morning at 11:15 in the semifinal match. The Big Green defeated the Ephs on Wednesday evening to conclude the regular season at the Berry Squash Courts by a score of 6-3.
“We did what we needed to get the win and are excited for tomorrow's semifinal match,” head coach Hansi Wiens said after the victory over Williams.
Dartmouth picked up wins from sophomore Maddie Fraser, junior Lydie McKenzie, freshmen Rebecca Brownell and Zainab Molani and senior Sarah Caughey. The five wins secured the overall victory for the Big Green. Dartmouth added an extra match victory from senior Helena Darling.
