RALEIGH, N.C. – The Dartmouth women's track & field team wrapped up its weekend at the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State on Saturday afternoon at Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.
Junior Jennifer Meech ran to a third-place finish in the 200m with a 25.39, just a split-second faster than classmate Kaitlin Whitehorn, who was fourth in 25.44.
Senior Molly Shapiro posted a personal best in the triple jump as her best mark was measured at 40-3.5/12.28m. That distance earned Shapiro third overall in a field of 45 competitors.
Freshman Marissa Evans continued the strong day for the Big Green with a sixth-place finish in the 400m hurdles, crossing in 1:02.34.
Against a field of nearly 40 quality teams, Dartmouth's 4x100m relay team placed fourth. The Green's quartet running in the event posted a 46.87 and won the second heat.
In the 800m, junior Elizabeth Markowitz rook home 16th in 2:14.85, while senior Stephanie Brown took 15th in the pole vault by clearing 10-6.0/3.20m.
