PRINCETON, N.J. – Ten Dartmouth student-athletes were honored with Academic All-Ivy recognition for the 2015 spring season, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
To qualify for a spot on the conference's top academic team during the spring, a student-athlete must make a major contribution to their team in addition to maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average.
The Class of 2015 held a slight edge over the Class of 2016 for bragging rights on this list for the Big Green as six recent graduates were represented, while four rising seniors were recognized.
For Deirdre Lambert of the sailing team, this most recent honor from the conference office was the third of her career recognizing her accomplishments in the classroom as well as on the water. The nine other individuals were honored for the first times in their careers.
The 10 Dartmouth student-athletes listed in alphabetical order with key information are as follows:

- Second-Team All-Ivy
- Named the team's Defensive MVP as well as the winner of the Josie Harper and Patty Pierce Awards
Bryce Cody // Senior // Heavyweight Rowing // Moorestown, N.J. // Economics- 3.76 GPA
- Moved around the lineup throughout the season rowing mostly in the varsity 4A and fourth varsity eight boats
- At the IRA National Regatta as part of the varsity 4 boat, the Big Green finished 17th in the nation
Blair Friedensohn // Junior // Men's Lacrosse // Boston, Mass. // Government
- 3.58 GPA
- Was one of four players on the team to appear in and start all 13 games
- He made 128 saves while allowing 149 goals and was third on the team with 40 ground balls
Dana Giordano // Junior // Women's Track & Field // Bernardsville, N.J. // Psychology
- 3.42 GPA
- Winner of the 1500m at Outdoor Heps
- NCAA Championship qualifier in the 5000m for the second year in a row
