Big Green Women Finish Up Weekend at Shamrock Invitational

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Dartmouth women's track & field continued its weekend at the non-scoring Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational XX Saturday at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
Jennifer Meech was fifth in a field of 45 in the seeded 400m with 54.63, while Alison Frantz was 20th in 56.87. In the 400m hurdles, Katy Sprout was 16th with a 1:03.56 to his credit with Marissa Evans taking 20th in 1:04.31.
Meech was also 10th in the 200m, crossing the line in 24.25 with Sara Kikut claiming 16th in 25.04.
In the triple jump, Molly Shapiro was 10th as her 38-4.0/11.68m third jump proved to be her best. Melissa Dunham was 23rd in the shot put as her toss of 38-0.75/11.60m was her furthest of the day.
The Big Green's 4x100m relay team claimed 21st in 50.61.
