The Dartmouth men's soccer team travels to Durham to face No. 23 UNH at 7 p.m.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire enters the contest with a 9-1-3 record after winning the last three straight games. The Wildcats were at the No. 23 spot in the United Soccer Coaches Poll as of last Tuesday. Junior Chris Arling leads the team with four goals and sophomore Antonio Colacci is first on the squad in assists with four. Keeper Andrew Pesci has played all 13 games in the net, boasting a 0.36 goals against average, good enough to put him second in the nation, only five goals allowed all season and 29 saves.
LAST TIME AGAINST NEW HAMPSHIRE
Last October, the Big Green hosted UNH and secured a 1-0 win from a Justin Donawa goal in the 71st minute. The two teams have faced off 41 times and Dartmouth holds the series lead 24-14-3.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green are coming off a 4-0 win over Penn on Saturday. Eduvie Ikoba led the offense with two goals, Tyler Dowse and Dawson McCartney also scored in the victory.
BIG CONTRIBUTORS
Ikoba has taken over the top spot for goals with six and also has three assists so far. Donawa is leading the team in assists with six, is also 23rd in the nation for assists per game and 26th for total assists. Following him is McCartney, who has posted five assists this year.
LEADERS OF THE PACK
Matt Danilack, Tyler Dowse and Wyatt Omsberg are more than halfway through their senior seasons, also serving as team captains. The trio lead the offense as a group with a combined eight goals and six assists.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
Freshman keeper Christopher Palacios has played 899 minutes in the goal and grabbed 14 saves. His 0.40 goals against average is fourth in the nation, as he has only allowed four goals in the 10 games he has played.
