HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men's soccer scored three second-half goals on its way to blanking Columbia on Saturday night at Burnham Field. The win is the fourth of the season for the Big Green, surpassing its win total from all of last season.
Dartmouth picked up its fourth win of the season and its second Ivy League win to put itself in the thick of the playoff race.
Connor Klekota, the Bobby Clark Head Men's Soccer Coach, has led his program to more wins this season than all of last season and has reached two Ivy League wins, matching the total from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons.
The Big Green scored three goals Saturday, matching its season high. The last time Dartmouth scored three or more goals in an Ivy League game came almost two years ago, when Dartmouth beat Yale 4-0 on Oct. 19, 2024.
Vasilis Moiras opened the scoring in the 47th minute with his first goal of the season.
Bo Robbins was credited with the assist on the play.
Back-and-forth action ensued until the 77th and 78th minutes, when Dartmouth put the game away for good.
In the 77th minute,
Noah Sams netted his second goal of the season, with
Trenton Blake assisting on the play. Just over a minute later, Blake got back on the scoresheet with his third goal of the season, unassisted. Blake has scored twice this week, including the tying goal against UMass.
The shots were heavily slanted toward Dartmouth, as the Big Green registered 15 to Columbia's seven.
TJ Jeffreys was solid once again, making three saves to earn his sixth clean sheet of the season.
After all of Saturday's Ivy League games concluded, Dartmouth finds itself in a tie for second with the University of Pennsylvania, both having seven points. Three Ivy League games remain this season, two on the road and one at home for the Big Green.
Saturday's result extends the team's unbeaten streak to three games, and the Big Green has earned a result in six of its last seven games overall.
