HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth kept its NCAA Tournament hopes alive Saturday night as it defeated Brown, 4-1, on senior night. Senior

Braden Salvati also scored for the Big Green. Senior
Yima Asom assisted on both of Ikoba's goals.
Dartmouth closes the regular season with a 7-5-5 record and 4-1-2 in the Ivy League, finishing as one of two teams in the league with one loss. Brown ends its season with an 8-8-1 record and 2-5-0 in the Ivy League. The Big Green finish the regular season undefeated at home with a 4-0-4 record at Burnham Field and closed the year with a 7-1-3 record in their final 11 matches.
Brown got on the board on its first shot of the match in the fifth minute. Daniel Schiller scored on a long goal that sneaked past the keeper to make it 1-0 Bears.
After three consecutive shots, Dartmouth made the fourth count when Asom found Ikoba who took a few dribbles inside the box and booted it to the back of the net to tie the game at one in the 18th minute.
In the 33rd minute, Salvati intercepted a kick from a Brown defenseman and fired a shot from about 35 yards out and connected to give the Big Green a 2-1 lead.
Dartmouth was not done yet, in the 42nd minute McCartney took tings into his own hands and scored to extend the Big Green lead to 3-1 before the half.
The second half got chippy with five combined yellow cards. Dartmouth was able to put up one more goal in the 85th minute. It was Ikoba again who sent home a rebound from Asom to give the game its final score of 4-1.
Dartmouth will now await its fate as the Big Green hope to be selected into the NCAA Tournament. The selection show will take place on Monday.
