BOSTON – The 2018-19 indoor season began for the Dartmouth men's track & field team Saturday at the BU Season Opener.

The non-scoring meet was held inside the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

Donovan Spearman ran to a second-place showing in the final of the 60m, crossing the line in 6.89, just four-hundredths of a second back of the first-place finisher.

Two Big Green sprinters made the final of the 60m hurdles.
Alec Eschholz claimed fourth in 8.21, while
Parker Johnson's 8.35 was good for sixth.

Max Frye was sixth in the 400m, crossing in 49.55, while Charlie Wade was eighth in 49.92. In the 200m,
Will Marx was seventh in 22.91.

Ethan Ruh took seventh in the shot put (14.98m), posting the top field performance of the day for the team in green and white.

The Big Green are home next Saturday to host Maine and Vermont in a tri-meet at Leverone Field House. It is the last meet before winter break where the team will return to host the 50th Annual Dartmouth Relays on Jan. 11-13.
