Penn-Kekana Named New England Soccer Journal Breakout Player

The sophomore leads the Big Green in minutes played
HANOVER, N.H. – Mothibi Penn-Kekana was recently named by New England Soccer Journal as one of 10 breakout players across the New England Division One landscape.
The sophomore, who saw action in only three matches a season ago, has been a substantial component to Dartmouth's defense in 2019 starting all 15 games. He also leads the Big Green in minutes played.
The London, England native came away with a key tackle late against UMass to help the Big Green secure a 1-0 win. He was also instrumental on the back line in wins over Michigan State, Princeton and Penn.
Penn-Kekana has contributed offensively as well. He scored his first career goal against Niagara and picked up an assist in a win over Harvard.
