BOSTON – The Dartmouth women's track & field team finished the 2019 New England Indoor Championship Meet in second place.
The Big Green posted 80 points over two days of competition at Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center with meet concluding Saturday afternoon.
HIGHLIGHTS
• After claiming third in the semifinals,
Cha'Mia Rothwell was second in the final of the 60m hurdles in 8.50 to claim eight points.
•
Folasade Akinfe took sixth in the triple jump and added three points to the Dartmouth total as she jumped 11.70m on he fifth attempt.
•
Rachel Donner has a point in the shot put with an eight-place showing thanks to a toss of 13.39m.
• The Big Green got four points in the 400m via a sixth-place showing from
Kathryn Laskoski (56.90) and an eighth-place finish from
Caroline Walter (57.83).
•
Nicole Deblasio claimed sixth in the 200m, crossing in 25.06 for three points.
•
Jacqueline Perron-Smith was seventh in the 500m in 1:16.50.
• The relay teams were also impressive as the 4x800m team posted a 9:10.77 to take second and eight points, while the 4x400m quartet matched their place and points in 3:48.85.
• Mary Rittler won her section of the women's mile, but finished 15th overall in 5:13.26.
