MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.  – Dartmouth men's tennis had a 7-0 loss at the hands of No. 25 Minnesota at the Baseline Tennis Center on Friday evening.

The Gophers won the doubles point following wins at the No. 3 and 1 positions. Playing at the No. 2 spot, sophomores
Peter Conklin and
Casey Ross were tied with Jackson Allen and Eli Ogilvy, 6-6, when the doubles point was clinched.

Although Minnesota won all of the singles matches, a lot of them were very close. Junior
Charlie Broom – who was ranked 34th in the most recent ITA National Ranking – put up a fight before ultimately falling to No. 53 Josip Krstanovic at the No. 1 position. Sophomore
Dan Martin won his first set against Allen at No. 3 singles, while Ross forced a third set at the No. 6 spot.

On Sunday, Dartmouth will take on Drake at 12:30 p.m.
