FORT WORTH, Texas – Dartmouth women's tennis was defeated by TCU, 6-1, at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon. The Big Green are now 3-10 overall, while the Horned Frogs improved to 10-4.
TCU picked up the first point of the day following 6-1 wins at the No. 2 and 1 doubles.
The Frogs went on to win at the No. 1, 3, 6, 4 and 2 singles positions to clinch the victory, though those last two matches (junior
Chuyang Guan at No. 4 and sophomore
Abigail Chiu at No. 2) went to three sets. In the final match at the No. 5 spot, Chloe Hule won the first set by a score of 6-0 before junior
Allison McCann came back to win the remaining two, 6-4, 6-3.
On Friday, the Green will play their final match of spring break when they take on SMU.
