PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy announced its weekly award winners Monday afternoon and junior second baseman
Micah Schroder was tabbed the Player of the Week for her display this past weekend in Dartmouth's series win at Yale.

From Houston, Texas, Schroder tore it up at the plate hitting .883 (10-12) over the three-game span. She finished the weekend with a home run, two doubles, seven runs batted in and six runs scored. Schroder also added a stolen base and had a perfect fielding percentage.

The junior first went 3-4 at the plate with an RBI single and three runs scored in Dartmouth's 10-2 game one victory over the Bulldogs. She then finished a perfect 4-4 with three RBI and three runs scored, including a two-run home run in the second inning in the Big Green's six inning, 11-3, win in game two. Schroder Capped off the weekend with a 3-4 performance with three more RBI in game three.

This is the first time that Schroder has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week.
