HANOVER, N.H. –
Bo Oshoniyi, the Bobby Clark Head Coach of Dartmouth Men's Soccer, has announced the eight players who will make up the Big Green men's soccer class of 2023.
This recruiting class is comprised of four forwards and four midfielders, who hail from five separate states and represent three different countries. The group of incoming freshmen will join the team for practice in the fall in preparation for their first game of the season on September 6 at Wake Forest.

David Alino

Oshoniyi: "David comes to us from the academy team of MLS franchise New York City FC, where his career has included a game winning goal against Real Madrid at the U17 level. David's ability in wide areas stood out right away. He has pace, technical ability and is very dangerous in the final third. We are very excited that David chose to join our family and we feel he'll fit in right away with our style of play. His athleticism and physical abilities will help him adjust very quickly to our program."
George Altirs

Oshoniyi: "George is a big forward with soft feet who is strong in the run of play and on set pieces. He is another guy who we hit it off with in the recruiting process. George really stood out in how he carries himself which we felt fit right into our culture. We are happy to add him to our depth of attacking players for the fall."
Pedro Campos

Notes: Barcelona Cup champion in 2015 … Paris World Games champion in 2017 … selected to Interclubes all-star team in 2016 and 2018 … finished in the top three for the Interclubes' top goal scorer (2016, 2017 and 2018).
Oshoniyi: "Pedro is quite the attacking player and we are very excited to have him join us here at Dartmouth. His versatility to play wide, or as our number ten, will provide us more depth going forward. Pedro's vision, quick feet and ability to create in the final third will allow us to be dynamic around goal. His ability to be consistent with his free kicks also stood out in the evaluation process."
Jack Casey

Oshoniyi: "Jack is a two-way midfielder with a fantastic range of passing and the ability to cover box-to-box. We were very impressed with his vision, his creativeness and his technical ability to dictate the game. Jack's exposure to training with the Tampa Bay Rowdies senior pro team has allowed him to continue to develop at a high level and we are excited about the impact he will bring to our program."
Clayton Molter

Notes: Member of the LA Galaxy Academy from ages 12 to 18 ... helped reach the U19 Academy playoffs for two consecutive years … helped win the Aspire Academy Tri Series tournament in Doha, Qatar in 2016.
Oshoniyi: "Clayton comes to us from the LA Galaxy Academy where he stood out as a high level forward. We were very impressed with Clayton's versatility in his back-to-goal work along with his ability to run in behind. Another forward with soft feet in the class, Clayton works very hard on the defensive side of the ball which also stood out."
Eric Sachleben

Notes: Played for Marin FC in northern California … started on Marin FC U14 USSDA Academy team … as captain, helped lead the team to the 2017 NorCal State Cup Championship … four-year starter on the Marin Academy Varsity soccer team … advanced to the NCS finals all four years … won the NCS championship three times … team captain senior year … led the team to its first ever NorCal Championship … awarded the BCL League MVP Award … selected as Male Soccer Player of the Year by the Marin IJ … named Marin Academy Outstanding Male Student Athlete in 2018.
Oshoniyi: "Eric is a two-way midfielder who showed very well at our camp last year. He has great feet and an engine that keeps going. What also stood out in our evaluation of Eric was his mentality. He's a grinder who works from the first whistle until the end of the match. We are excited to start working with him."
Garrett Socas
