HIGHLIGHTS:
•    For the third time in her career,
Julia Valenti is a champion in the pole vault. For the first time in her career, though, Valenti is the champion during the outdoor season having won the last two indoor titles. The junior, who finished second at last year's outdoor meet in Philadelphia, improved one spot this spring as she was the lone competitor to clear 3.90m, doing do on her first attempt at the height.
•    Valenti joins Elizabeth Beck as the only Dartmouth women to win the outdoor pole vault since it became and event in 1999. Beck claimed the title in 2000 meaning Valetni's title snapped the program's 18-year drought atop the podium in the event.
•
Olivia Goodwin also earned a point in the pole vault, claiming sixth with a 3.70m height to her credit, clearing on her second attempt.
•
Cha'Mia Rothwell took sixth in the long jump with a 5.82 on her sixth and final attempt on the day. That finish earned her one point.
•
Amelia Ali was sixth in the hammer throw with a 53.28m on her fourth attempt, securing a point.
•    In the heptathlon,
Maria Garman leads the Dartmouth contingent as she is in fourth after one day thanks to 2909 points and three fourth-place showings in the first four events.
